Better Than a Credit Union — Without Membership

South Florida's Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) attracts 120,000+ visitors per month — but it is a membership-based institution not available to all South Florida residents. Furthermore, even for members, SCCU's product range is limited compared to a mortgage broker who accesses 40+ wholesale lenders.

As a licensed Florida mortgage broker, Mortgage Capital is open to any qualified borrower — no membership, employment, or geographic restriction. Additionally, unlike a credit union with limited products, we originate FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional, Jumbo, Non-QM, DSCR, Hard Money, and all Florida DPA programs. As a result, borrowers who can't use SCCU — or who need programs SCCU doesn't offer — are better served through our brokerage.

Furthermore, because we wholesale our loans through multiple lenders, our rates are often comparable to or better than credit union rates — without any membership requirement. However, the biggest advantage is breadth: we can close loans that credit unions cannot, including ITIN mortgages, bank statement loans for self-employed borrowers, and DSCR investor loans.
