What happens at a mortgage closing?

Answered by Onias Derilus, Mortgage Capital · NMLS# 1859012 · Florida licensed mortgage broker

At closing you review and sign the final loan and title documents, provide your cash to close, and the title company records the deed and disburses funds. In Florida this is usually handled by a title company or attorney.

Once recorded, the home is yours and you get the keys. We make sure your figures match the Closing Disclosure before you sign.
