Can I finance a tiny home?
Answered by Onias Derilus, Mortgage Capital · NMLS# 1859012 · Florida licensed mortgage broker
It's tough with a traditional mortgage. Most tiny homes are too small or are titled as RVs, which mortgages don't cover. A tiny home on a permanent foundation, titled as real property and meeting minimum size rules, may qualify.
Otherwise, personal loans or RV financing are the usual routes. We'll review the specific structure and tell you honestly whether a mortgage is possible.
